Win what? This game or the whole thing? Both would seem unlikely. Going to be O’Sullivan or Trump I think, Mark Allen next choice if he gets through this round
Bill Werbenuik’s six pints of lager before a match (tax deductable) plus one pint per frame (up to 50 pints per day) took its toll. Incredibly, he managed to make it to the age of 56.
I saw him at the Sheffield Crucible in the late 80s. I was passively ratarsed just watching him.
Think there were 3 Canadians in the top 16 at one point and of course Thorburn ground his way to victory one year. Not sure why the popularity pf the game diminished here. Pool is much bigger, but there are still a few snooker clubs dotted around

You can never tell with him.
A talented player yet to win a ranking event.
A Trump O’Sullivan final going to a final frame at midnight on a Bank Holiday night would be nice.

Likowski and Allen both out. I think Trump and O’Sullivan would meet in semi if they win their next game

Trump, Higgins and O’Sullivan all eliminated on the same day.
Suppose I should want Jones to win now, there were 2 players from my hometown area in the competition, Jones is from Cwmbran just down the road.
