In other “reissue of an an album nobody really wants” news, I’ve just seen an advert for the 40th anniversary all-analogue vinyl cut from the original master tape of… Crash by The Human League. Apart from the […]

As an aside, the village hall in the village where my folks lived (and where I left about 30 years ago) is about to turn 100. To celebrate, the village Am Dram group are staging a celebratory performance. My […]

I liked something from the RNLI and now I get fed stuff by “patriots” which I have to decline. I suppose it is the FB algorithm providing me with a balanced view. Sheringham lifeboat station is due to reopen in […]

I’m listening to it now (I have a backlog). @Colin-H are you the scary man who wrote him a letter about his debut LP?

I was hoping Moosey would have popped in by now to remind us of Dantalian’s Chariot.

It’s almost like new vinyl records cost 2.5 times the price of new CDs, isn’t it?

So would I. The BPI do publish those, so we’ll have to wait until Feb.

I was in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago and one (student?) nurse was explaining to her pal that she had cancelled her Netflix and Spotify subscriptions, and was buying second-hand DVDs and CDs instead. “You […]

Sorry, I missed off the M(illion). Blame shonky cut and paste… Total revenue = $5975M, of which: Streaming = 81.85% Physical = 12.23% Synchronisation = 3.88% Downloads = 2.02%

I met him several times after his spells and an MP and a inmate, in his expensive orchard tea rooms, as a pal lives just round the corner. At every encounter, he was just a prick.

Aye. I don’t recall what she smelt like, mind.

35 years ago, I was on a charity committee with Mary Archer (fundraising for the Cambridge Arts Cinema and Arts Theatre renovations – my dance partner’s neighbour was the booker for the Corn Exchange). Upon […]

I couldn’t see Sudafed Blue but Boots own brand is indeed pseudoephedrine. It works for me but I don’t take it for longer than I have to. One pack of 12 tabs is 3 days worth and the full course. I wasn’t allowed […]

I am very dull, so I always read the labels. Lemsip Max (well, Boots own-brand equivalent) contains paracetamol. Once I was past streaming snot, I switched to Sudafed Blue (well, Boots own-brand equivalent) and […]
