    • I’m finding it very, very odd that not only have I not had COVID (at least not to my knowledge), but since getting the first jab 5 years ago I’ve not had any the slightest hint of a cold whatsoever.     • That’s a great idea! I would have quit ages ago but I didn’t know it was allowed. I’m going to call it a day too. With over 2000 comments this is clearly and undeniably the most popular thread The Afterword has ever had. We have made history! So I’m going to join you and quit on a high, like John Entwistle. I am already looking forward to the rest of my life – no more getting up early and fretting and sweating about which letter to add. It has been a wonderful escapade, the envy of our peers, and I wish you both the best for any future undertakings you choose to undertake. I hope we may meet again on the main page. It is the end of an era. Glory be unto us.
