I know some round here hate puns, but 1990s London goodtime covers band The Funking Barstewards were great.
‘Sweaty Jelly’, but no records, no gigs, nobody cared.
Sweaty Jelly’s best song was I Keep Wearing That Same Old Thong.
No it wasn’t. It was their version of Eton Rifles, called Heat On Trifles.
The last time we had a ‘Best band names’ thread, someone suggested The Idle Race, and I reckon that is a pretty good shout.
