I sold off my Humax, and the Toppy that preceded it got given away a few years ago. I reckoned I’d only very rarely want to record anything off-air in the future.
Neil’s set was the first rare occasion since then.

Did anyone record the Glastonbury Neil Young set off-air?

Oops. Neil’s people seem to have found it. I did tape it, but it’s not possible to share, it’s in the cloud and you can only access via the app

I ditched Sky recently and would have definitely recorded it, but we have Virgin now and it doesn’t have a facility to record. Everything is streamed now, ain’t it? No need to record anything…..grrrr…..
I’m guessing you might have a different Virgin package. Mine certainly records stuff – it’s the round red button in the middle of the remote.
(There may of course be other packages, and I’ve just come over like a condescending tw*t. No offence meant …)
I think their boxes had a hard drive until recently (both my kids have Virgin, and they have hard drive versions….of course, they never bloody record anything!), but ours is like Sky Stream – just a little puck thing.
Is it definitely not going to be on iPlayer, or just not there yet?
I noticed things continued to trickle onto there over the course of the day.

I didn’t click on the button of course, and all I can say is that Neil was absolutely feckin’ brilliant. A bunch of old blokes huddled in a circle thrashing the hell out of Rockin’ in the Free World or a woman in a bikini singing karaoke to her own songs? I’ll take Neil every time.

I swear I heard someone muttering the same words while he was going through the bins by the library the other day. He looked like a bit of a dodger to me. I didn’t hang around.
I know someone with an off air 720p recording (blu ray recorder) who via string and sellotape transfers to a digital file but not sure how he/she/they can share? PM who/what/how
