Wow Niall – that’s a really detailed and informative post about the Cocteau Twins (and Jeff Buckley and Terry Hall). I would never have known from the post title.
I had always assumed these posts were about the record studios. More fool me for judging a book by its cover.
I’m impressed by your dedication.

@salwarpe Thanks. There’s bits of technical information, if I can find it, but they have always been about the people, the bands, singers, producers and engineers. Then I look for some history around the area, or of the building.
Don’t worry, you’ve only got 83 to catch up on.

Thanks, Niall, also for being a gentleman in not noticing my Jeff/Tim slip. Though it does make me wonder if Liz’s singing Tim’s song had anything to do with her and Jeff getting together.

I always thought it must have been a good part of the reason.

Marvellous, as per.
This one ended far too quickly.

I always wondered what the connection between Cocteaus and This Mortal Coil was. First heard the song being played as the opening track on the PA at the outdoor Larks in the Park festival in Sefton Park, Liverpool in the 80s. Very eerie sound floating around the trees that night – has always stuck with me.

It is that kind of track, isn’t it.
