Opportune moment to link again to this gem from the prematurely departed David Cavanagh

I may have mentioned it on here before but I was at that LSE gig, where The Triffids supported The Monochrome Set, and I remember a bloke leaving the front of the crowd covered in blood, who must have been David Cavanagh. The Triffids were indeed fantastic, and a live album from that night is on Spotify.

Excellent news. I just informed my Triffophile friend in Malmö and he told me he’s been reading about the process as it took place.
There is a FB page.

I have been listening to his excellent solo album from 1994 “Love of Will” again. A neglected masterpiece if ever there was one.
David McComb is still missed and I look forward to listening to the Lost Songs.

Alas a 5 city tour of Australia canned.
Even in death unlucky.

That tour cancellation must have been a downer for them. A hell of a summer indeed!
However, we Triffophiles are not fickle. We will Walt.
