Was a time when Harry Dean Stanton seemed to be in every film I saw. I’m coming to the end of Twin Peaks at the mo and he’s in that too. A fine actor. RIP.

Paris Texas is my favorite film, will be watching it again tonight. Sad to think both Harry and Sam Shepard are both gone.

This is one of the greatest monologues in cinematic history: HDS in Paris, Texas.
Also a recording artiste!… ‘I Hope I Never Get Too Old To Rock and Roll’ is one of my all time favourite tracks.
And Repoman – one of his too-few lead roles – is one of my all-time faves.
A repoman’s life is always intense.
Ordinary fucking people, I hate ’em.
