So in response to Tigger’s thread suggestion back in the Prostitution thread about Bruce’s worst song triggering a thread, I’m starting said thread.
Here’s my suggestion – Pony Boy. Jeez, he even played it live. Talk of lack of self-awareness.
However I’m not limiting it to Bruce. Any decent sized back catalogue has a stinker or two (yes, Mr Young I’m looking at you as a multiple offender) so let us have your bona fide, rotten blue cheese, stinkers.

Despite jet-lag and about three hours sleep in the previous 36 I made it to this gig. After last year’s stupendously good introduction I didn’t want to miss out. Mrs P was too tired out though Hannah made my effort worth it and didn’t disappoint in the least, other than her set was barely 40 minutes. She came on promising new material though she recognised most of her songs would be new to the majority. In the event only the opener and another titled Goldrush were new and a good part of her set came via requests, including mine for Black And White. A brilliant addition to the set-list is Jason Isbell’s Cover Me Up, but for those who know Jason’s work I can testify Hannah’s own songs are equally as good. She just has that essence of star quality about her. With respect to the other acts playing before her, while none were bad, from the very first chord of her first song it’s clear Hannah is a class act and the others comparative journeymen. It has been a long, long time since I read a thriller that I couldn’t put down; that at every opportunity I’d grab the chance to read a few more pages. A post 9/11 thriller telling a tale of international terrorism. As with Day Of The Jackal, though you know the ending it grips from page one. A retired agent from a secret US intelligence group is brought back to trace the Saracen. What is his weapon? They don’t know. It’s just known he’s dangerous. He can bring catastrophe to the USA and has to be stopped. Fragmentary clues are pieced together as Pilgrim chases him down. Is it literature? No. Is it a potboiler that explodes with excitement? YES. From New York, to Saudi Arabia, to Turkey and to the Hindu Kush, with death and danger everywhere. I loved it. There is a flaw in the unlikely connection between the sub plot and main plot, but that’s a minor quibble. It gallops along and we, the readers, just hang on for the ride.

I’m talking about proposed London Mingle
I did suggest on the Mingle thread about using one of those polls, but have now decided that you can just vote here and state preferred date and venue and I’ll count them up and we’ll have come to a decision by the end of next week (February 27th).
So make your choices on:
1) I propose dates of either March 20th or March 27th (both Fridays)
2) A poll on aard-stryder’s suggestion of The Betjeman Arms (http://www.geronimo-inns.co.uk/london-the-betjemank) at Kings Cross / St Pancras stations against the old location of The King & The Queen in Foley Street.
For myself I can do both dates but lean towards the 28th and fancy the new Venue.
If we get enough takers I’ll sort out a booking with the venue

Well as we’re back up is anyone interested in a 2015 London mingle?
They seemed to have fallen out of favour with many if the low attendance at the last one is anything to go by, but a it’s been a long time, so if at least a dozen say they are up for it I’m in favour of going ahead, in say mid to late March
