That was a good read, @niallb – and Empty Glass surely the best Pete Townshend album. Arguably the best Who-related album of the period – including The Who!

A couple of typos: “The Faces” (I’m suprised Rigid didn’t spot this one) and “Beat were delighted”
By the way, Empty Glass and Rough Mix have recently had the Miles Showell Abbey Road Half-Speed Mastered treatment.
