That TOTP performance.
Simply f*cking awesome. That was the summer of 1972 and my parents thought the aliens had landed. That and ‘Do The Strand’ are among the best records ever made.
I think it’s up there with Bowie’s Starman performance.
It is.
Really enjoying reading your blog niallb, it’s clearly a labour of love.
It is really exciting. I cannot wait to get up in the morning, to work on the research. Thank you.
It’s my favourite KC album.
Mine too.
Just as groundbreaking as In The Court Of The Crimson King.
I saw this tour, with Jamie Muir. The gig has stuck with me because it was so extraordinary, so different to anything I’d seen before. I’m a huge Bill Bruford fan and it was wonderful to see him, (in his denim dungarees,) having a ball, driving the band.
My fave is the one with That’s the Way (I Like It).
Another winner!
Thanks.
We’ve had three of these in just a matter of days. Fantastic! Keep ’em coming, Niall!
Another one on Friday.
Yay!!
