In 1975, I was 17. Albums like Young Americans, Live!, Katy Lied, The Last Record Album along with Another Green World made me feel like a proper grown up.
I adored Roxy Music, was fascinated by No Pussyfooting and thoroughly enjoyed Warm Jets and Tiger Mountain. It seemed Eno had grown up with this album too.
I’ve been told that I look like him.
I think I love it more today.

You may be wondering why I haven’t done a Feature on it. Pitchfork have said it all better:

When you were seventeen
It was a very good year…
There was definitely a sophistication to the music of our generic mid-70s 6th form. Until some berk put on Robin Trower.
Loved this album and played fairly recently. Has aged well.
Love this album and have probably played it more than my other Eno and Roxy albums put together.
If I’m asked (which I never have been): “where do I start with Eno?” Another Green World is the entry point (with a side serving of Tiger Mountain and Before and After Science)
Yes. It’s the definitive Eno, combining instrumentals with vocal tracks, melody with drift, nothing too loud and lots of peculiar noises and textures.
