I do love a good war movie, and Christopher Nolan’s latest, ‘Dunkirk’, scheduled for release next year, looks like it fits the bill nicely.
Great cast (Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, er…Harry “don’t call me Nobby, who is Nobby anyway?’ Styles…) and a compelling story.
It does seem like a movie that would only really resonate with a British audience rather than a global one, but Nolan is such a good film maker so I have high hopes.
Summer 2017.

Starring Tom Hanks and directed by Michael Bay?
Dunkirk looks a lot more interesting.
