The person who posted the link suggested this wont be up for long.
This had a brief run in cinemas, though not down here and was supposed to go to DVD.

Oh shit posted video in the opener and having just read Yorkio’s comment.
That fecking box.
The original Joe Cocker film is also up on YouTube……
These are both the celebrate Joe Cockers Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction. I’m guessing this will only be up for a limited time.
I love Joe Cocker’s music, there have been few to match his intensity and, yes, grace. But the film shows only too well how he was surrounded during that tour by an unpleasant crowd of ligging hangers-on, charlatans and utter arseholes. There are moments when it’s painful to see how he is unable to figure out how he should respond to the fawning insincerity – he’s just too nice a bloke to tell them what I guess he was actually thinking at the time – something appropriately robust for the pubs of Sheffield in the nineteen sixties.
The Tedushi Trucks with Leon Russell album is one of my albums of ‘25
I watched this. Its very good.
Lots of clips of the original and some frank interviews with the surviving cast. Doesn’t hide the aftermath of the tour – Joe Cocker’s exhaustion, addiction and sad homecoming.
It doesn’t persuade me that Leon Russel is a nice man – though obviously talented.
The ‘new’ version of the band benefits hugely from the survivors being part of it – and they’ve survived very well. Chris Stainton looks pretty much exactly the same!!
I never cared much for the Tedeschi Trucks band – a bit too po-faced. I wish he’d look up and smile sometimes!
In this, though, there is a real sense of togetherness and people having a great time.
Definitely worth a watch – but I’m not sure how long it’s on YouTube for. It’s called ‘Learning To Live Together’.
