Pretty sure I saw Simple Minds there for New Gold Dream tour. Then at the Barrowlands for Sparkle in the Rain. Tiffany’s became Zanzibar’s at some point (1984?) but I think that was only as a disco, not a music venue.

Yeah. Smile was my gateway to The Jayhawks. This and Rainy Day Music are my favourites. Good call on A Break In The Clouds. Absolutely sublime.

The Very Best Of The Byrds I went on to buy the original albums but really only need this. Roxy Music Greatest Hits (1977 version) My gateway to early Roxy. All albums subsequently bought & essential.

I was just about to comment on the lack of The Simpsons. Is it being airbrushed out because of the fall off in quality? The original (12, 13, 14?) seasons are consistently brilliant IMHO.
