It has been confirmed on social media ( that I cannot copy here) that Keith Dobson, frontman of WDE has passed away. “Asbestos Lead Asbestos” was one of the great anti-Thatcherite songs of the 80s and the “Let’s Play Domination” album is an underrated jewel of British post-punk noise, led byDobson’s metallic, crunching guitar.
‘Asbestos Lead Asbestos’ was a remarkable Anti-Thatcher song against all the Witch and her ilk stood for.

I have the equally squally I Can’t Live Without My Radio on the MM compilation Indie Top 20 Vol 4, and I saw them at the 1989 Reading Festival.
