That’s a very good song indeed. Perfectly sung, tidily arranged, a nice sharp hook, and gets the job done in only four minutes. That’s all you need, really, isn’t it.
Don Henley is 68.
More to the point he is content to slum around with Glenn Frey most of his time, making light of his solo prowess, under the bushel of the sum is lesser than its parts Eagles band. Shame that.
