I have just noticed that the fine Stuart Cosgrove book ‘Detroit 67’is £2.48 on the kindle via the tax dodgers site. I then noticed this ‘Memphis 68’ is also there for £1.49!
I have not read the latter as yet but if it is one iota as good as the former then it will be a cracker.

Thanks for that – now may I make the following recommendation. A slimmish book of essays by Stanley Booth.
Also the Preston Lauterbach books are quite superb but they are not cheap
Rythm Oil is great. Includes a startling comment by Otis Redding about The Beatles.
