Depending on who you believe, Radio Horse’s transmitter was seized by the DTI, or our ship ran aground somewhere south of Deptford Creek, or I just haven’t found the time to piss around quite so much on Spotify. So after three years of playing DJ, Radio Horse is on hiatus. I will update the playlists, just not strictly every month. Deal?
While you wait for the station to rise again, I thought some of you may be interested in the Rolling Playlist, literally 60 hours of the songs that I put together every month thinking folk might be interested (hey! at least 50 of us were). So here’s this month’s Top 20; and in the Comments I’ll put the huge Rolling Playlist; and I may add some of my greatest playlist “hits” further down.
See you soon, I’m sure. Thanks for listening, and for the many AW suggestions that shaped some of these playlists.

Hearty recommendation for this one, in particular. I have it on regularly in the kitchen and it’s turned me on to a few artists that I’d otherwise not have investigated.
I for one enjoy your playlists, Horse. Keep ‘em coming!
Good on you, will try. This one actually got slagged off on here. Someone said: NONE of these songs sound like Van Morrison. Well, of course he’s inimitable, but these definitely share some of the elements,
Goodness me! Where to start, some absolute belters there and I’ve barely scratched the surface. Hats off to Radio Horse!
Agreed – some eclectic and fascinating looking playlists there – thanks Martin.
No thanks Horsey I have my own superior sounds to listen to which I have no intention of foisting on anyone else
That’s harsh, isn’t it? Not “foisted”, only “offered”.
Correct
Ah, whatever. I suppose part of it probably is just me showing off. But I’m always looking for additions, comments, refinements. Listen to your own music, Pyramid, that’s fine. But why keep it to yourself? Surely sharing is more fun. I used to make mix tapes for my pals (and girls, obvs), but now I do these. It’s much the same.
