Not so much commentary. Classics all in recognised publisher editions, as ever a purely partial selection for 99p. Apart from the Murakami which is so good it’s worth a whole 1.99, possibly more if you are a runner.

A Dream about Lightning Bugs – Ben Folds
Catch Me If You Can – Frank Abagnale – inspro for the film

SF
Martian Chronicles – Ray Bradbury

And today only for 99p is Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie which is possibly the best use of 99p you could ever have. It’s one of the best novels of the past fifty years.
moseleymoles says
two to add:
The Odessa File by Frederick Forsyth (one of his two good thrillers)
The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander Mccall Smith

And of course – Robbo: Now you’re gonna believe us. 99p.
But that’s that terrible footba thing.
So, just to say I did like Anathem and it is better read on a Kindle so you don’t have to support the 1000+ pages.

Blandings! A bargain at twice the price!
Thanks for the heads up, @moseleymoles

Exit by Belinda Bauer was 99p a couple of weeks back. Not sure if it still is. She’s a terrific crime writer though

Any relation to Jack? There’s a man who needs to write a book…

Jesus, he’s too busy to sit down on the toilet and read a book never mind sit down at a desk and write one
