Both Rilo Kiley and Jenny solo are both on there, and yes, very Mac.
Over the last few years, they’ve started to tour with a full band and and have developed a more rocky side, I’d suggest that Enskede’s finest, The FAK, now sound rather Maccy.
They were on tour in the UK when Christine McVie passed away and they performed this tribute in their concerts.
Not sure I understand “Imperial phase”? First couple of albums were ok then suddenly we’re in California and it’s downhill all the way..
Possibly broadening out from FM but there are plenty of west coast vibes here.
Also aiming for a 70’s sound.

Look, I’ve as much respect for Bob Welch as the next man but I think most folk consider FM’s imperial phase to be the Rumours lineup. That’s what this compilation’s driving at anyway.

More like mark 5, and the “American band” were still mainly British including, for me, their best songwriter Christine McVie
Good point @Dai. Now a question. Did Mac Mark 5 often perform any of the songs from Peter Green’s Mac?
I’ve never seen them live. I did however notice that when Neil Finn joined them for a tour in 2019 he performed a fine version of Man of the World.
I saw the original Fleetwood Mac at the Albert Hall in 1969 and they were magnificent.
@Kaisfatdad can’t help you there. I did see the latest live incarnation with Finn and Mike Campbell and they did Black Magic Woman, Oh Well and Danny Kirwan’s Tell Me All The Things You Do
