Anybody come across Walter Martin before? Very droll and goofy, and gives a slight impression of making it up as he goes along. School of Jonathan Richman, I guess. His first number, I Went Along on a Solo Australian Tour, is helped along by a barbershop quartet, naturally. He’s a former member of the Walkmen, who have passed me by, I have to say.
Give him a burl, as they say round here.

Something else, with bonus groovy Moscow dancing.
I enjoyed it and can appreciate the apparent Jonathan Richman influence. Thanks!
I’m partial to a bit of The Walkmen. The Rat is probably their best known track, still gets a run out on 6 Music now and then
But ‘Stranded’ is my favourite- the brass on this is lovely
