How Does It Feel?: A Life of Musical Misadventures by Mark Kermode is 99p on Kindle.
Also I’m currently really enjoying I’m Sorry, I Love You: A History of Professional Wrestling [Kindle Edition] by Jim Smallman. It’s £3.99 and fascinating if you ever watched WWF in the 80s and 90s.
Fancy new coding automatically making my links look all pretty. Amazon affiliates links?
Does he mention the Comsat Angels or is it all skiffle?
His appearance on the Word In Your Ear far outweighed the book. On the podcast his storytelling was hilarious, in the book not so much.
The Kernode ebook is currently 99p on Amazon.
Thanks Uncle.
I’ve really enjoyed Mark Kermode’s previous books but didn’t even finish this one. Put bluntly, anodyne. However, I very much get the feeling I’m in the minority as it seemed to receive only heavy praise and positive reviews online.
I thought I loved music, but I have zero self-knowledge – am I doing it wrong?
I finished both books.
Kermode’s book was OK if rather pointless. Harmless but 99p was the right price.
I really enjoyed the wrestling book. It was fun.
