The Wookas found an obscure 70s cabaret lounge in Belfast to launch their second album last night. The floor hadn’t been mopped since Frank Carson rocked the joint in 1974. This isn’t on the record…

I did not know them but your post has brought them to my attention…they are rather good. I spent my cross trainer exercise at the gym watching the other YouTube vids from the gig. Hopefully the new album will be on Spotty soon. Thanks for the heads up on them Colin.
Thanks Razor. WookaBoss Adele politely asked me not to post any clips of tracks from their new album as she wanted people to hear them on the album first – but realistically, that’s not going to happen for most people unless those versions are electronically accessible. I’ve no idea if they will be. I’ll find out…
Having spoken to WookaBoss Adele, their plan is this: no Spotify but three free plays per track on Bandcamp. Sounds fair to me. Musicians make almost nothing from Spotify, and the Wookas are poorer than church mice. The Bandcamp link has only just gone live:

Thanks for the link Colin..I have been enjoying their first album on Spotify all week.
You’re most welcome.
