The final album with Keith Moon gets a deluxe reissue as 7 cds plus a bluray, including unreleased mixes by Glyn John’s, outtakes,rehearsals and live material.
Having said that it’s not an album I rate very highly other than the title track…and listening back to the original it sounds a bit dated now, although the Steven Wilson Atmos mix might be interesting.

Like Who’s Next, I’ll be buying the SDE blu-ray and skipping the box set.
And possibly later, the half-speed mastered vinyl (if there is one), and I see it cheap.
There’s a half-speed-mastered single LP listed on the official Who website.
It aint a truly bad album, although admittedly it is the last of the Moon-era I reach for.
Obviously the title track is the thing, and to be honest the rest would have to go some to surpass that one.
In “old money”, side 1 is none too shabby – New Song is a strong opener. But by the end of side 1 (to nick the title of Entwhistle’s track), I’ve sort of Had Enough. It’s OK, but it just doesn’t have that thing.
Would quite like the Shepperton disc as a stand alone if it ever exists.
I bought this in red vinyl shortly after its release from some dive near Times Square on my first trip to the United States, and packed it carefully in my suitcase along with the other ten or so LP’s. I must have bought my first stereo before the trip…
So it has good memories for me, but I haven’t played it this century.
