He flounced from Twitter recently. Seems to be having some issues.
I imagine jettisoning half of his fan base with this stance will make the scale of those issues more manageable.
He recently sold off a lot of his stuff at Julien’s Auctions, clothes, ephemera etc. Seems to be going through a bit of a life change.
Them dodgers were always going to be the worse. See ‘Morrissey’.
Could have told you in the dire itself.
It really feels like you did.
“If you want a picture of the future, imagine deram going on about ‘the dire’—for ever.”
– with apologies to George Orwell.
I think the lyric “war is stupid and people are stupid” gives all the evidence you need about how BG see’s the subtleties of global conflict and war. His new song carries on that tradition it seems.
I haven’t listened to it – even if it is lyrically interesting, I suspect the song will be dreary.

Oh, this is gonna be awkward…I have tickets to see CC, ABC and Haircut 100 in December (I’m going primarily to see H100 but it’s more a show my wife wanted to see). What to do? Walk out before George comes on, turn my back on him, take a prominent placard and a Palestine flag? It’s one (laudable) thing to support Jewish friends and the wider population, but quite another to use that sentiment as succour to such an immoral and despicable murderous regime. #conflicted
I wonder how the other bands on the bill have reacted? I don’t suppose they’re in a position to censure this or withdraw, as they’ll be under contract.
Would be good to see either or both of them offer an alternative perspective.
Is he back on the drugs?
Drugs, drugs are stupid and Boy George is stupid…
