We’re doing an interview with They Might Be Giants this Wednesday (they’re touring the UK in the month, in support of their new kids album “Why?”).
Got any questions for them? Please post them here and I’ll ask as many as I can.
Cheers

Brilliant!
Nice work if you can get it!
They are wonderful.
Boring I know but….
You could ask them when they are going to play Stockholm next.
DuCool and I are both big fans and would be there like a shot.
On Wednesday, you say?
On Wednesdays they never feel inclined. Indeed, work is the last thing on their mind.
So I would pencil in a replacement interviewee in case they don’t bother turning up.
Ask them, ‘Why?’
Do they think any of their albums would stand up to the ‘Classic album played live in its entirety’ treatment? If so, which one?
(to be honest, I think this is a question I could ask of any artist)
They do ‘Flood’ & ‘Lincoln’ shows fairly regularly
As well as their own albums, TMBG have made some wonderful albums which really make learning stuff fun. Normally pedagogical songs are dull as ditchwater. Theirs are witty, catchy and stand up well as songs.
E eats everything
I’d be curious to know about their creative process when doing this. And also about the differences between performing for an adult audience and for kids.
OMG! TMBG have their own Kids Channel on YT. With podcasts and all sorts of cool stuff.

And toe tapping tunes like this:
Ask, with these exact words, ‘Might they still be giants?’
Might get a fun answer…
Many casual listeners will know them as One-Hit-Wonders. Is ‘Birdhouse in Your Soul’ a bit of an albatross for them, or are the royalties the gift that keeps on giving?
Surely if they have, in fact, got an albatross, then it would make perfect sense to let it live in the birdhouse!
Do you know what you’ll find when you open up your letterbox tomorrow?
and
is your best friend really a sparrow?
Hi Hannah
A rather selfish question I know, but would you kindly ask the two John’s to play Omnicorn for my daughter Cara when they play their family show in Glasgow on the 31st January?
She’s 10, and this will be her first ever gig.
I know it’s a long shot, but it’s her favourite song, and it would make her day to hear it played live (and her face would be a picture).
Thanks
