I brought this album this week in Tesco, it’s a lovely collection of songs and listening to it this morning I thought he would be nice, yes nice, to have a YouTube thread of peace, love and understanding. So post your favourites from the first , or any summer of love

Bloody autobiography.

Brinsley Schwarz was both a guitarist and a band.
He was also the original model for Shaggy in Sccoby Doo, and won the 1972 Le Mans 24 Hour Race driving a Citreon 2CV.
As record sales started to fade, he came up with the idea of selling herbs and spices in small jars, which could be arranged (alphabetically of course) in a simple Rack. As an additional source of income, he patented the “classic” rack, and sold flat pack/self assembly versions through the Readers Digest.

How right you are, Dave. Watching the news during the past month has felt like doing a round with the world heavyweight champ: one body blow after the other.
We need some sunshine and some love. Not sure how much loving there is on Virgin Rail, but here is the Love Train.

I always found this strangely touching and remain a sucker for its sentimentality.
