I hope @pencilsqueezer doesn’t mind me mentioning this, but on Facebook he said that this lovely thing is up for sale. I hope there’s someone here who keeps coming back to look at it for the next couple of days before deciding that they can’t resist buying it from him!
Pencilsqueezer’s new work brilliantly evokes the duality of The Afterword. At its heart, the impenetrable core, the glorious red and gold kingdom, the Citadel jealously guarded by the few against the many; and beyond the walls, the triers, the strivers, the spat upon, the untermensch, slowly fading into the encroaching darkness, into nothing. But, says the artist; look again; the blackness engulfs the Citadel too.
And if we study further this central edifice, this Borg Cube, we may find among its number (14 of 16) the unassimilated Picard, the atom with no nucleus, the disc that cannot be played. Beware! The walls are breached, the circles will not be unbroken, the darkness is inside us.
Ooh. I can see through time 😍
Splendid stuff, Squeezer.

How much does he want for it?
I don’t own any of Pencilsqueezer’s art but I know others here do. Perhaps he, or a lucky owner, could pm you to give an idea of the price.
I admit to having a few, collected over the years when funds permitted. I can only say I don’t regret a single sou invested in them. Lovely things.
Are there no more piasters you can borrow? Or have you spent the last one?
That’s just beautiful.
If that was an album cover it would become an iconic one – lovely stuff.
Agree. Album Cover.
Nice to see you back here Pencil!

Good to see you back here Mr Squeezer, and nice to know you’re still in good form. Keep that imagination going!

You are the ghost of Brian Sewell and I claim my five pounds.
Goodness me, that’s fabulous, Pencil.
…Goes off to break open piggybank….
Crying out to be an album cover!
I shall be very jealous of whoever ends up with this on their wall.
