Can we please ask everyone NOT to post video’s in your original posts (i.e. when you start a thread). Make your fascinating, funny and enlightening post and then add a first comment to it containing the mesmerising video you want to include.
SOME embedded video’s cause other posts to disappear from the Forum page. We know not why but it appears to be linked to video’s in first posts so please avoid. Rectifying the problem can be tricky if it’s not flagged quickly.
Your caring Mod Team

Here’s a video for you, HP
I was prompted to repeat Mod Team’s post mainly because they missed the apostrophe in video’s, but also as an opportunity – arrogantly denied by their high-handed approach – for the Common Man to Have His Say. Surely this is a forum, not a platform for some power-crazy demagogue perpetuating an outdated imperialist dogma? We’re living in a dictatorship. A self-perpetuating autocracy is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses!
Let your voice – no matter how shrill and weedy – be heard here! STAND UP TO “THE MAN”!!!
Shrill and weedy … paging Lodestone.
Did the fridge light just come on?
Tchuh, it’s Videoes in Forum Post’s.
Zappa always knew that it’s the apostrophe (‘) that’s causing all the trouble.
The crux of the biscuit, the jelly roll gumdrop …
What this thread really needs is an Oxford comma.
Your an troublemaker HP
You arrrre a Rrrrrrrrobin Hood!
@Chiz
Removing the full stops from his name – That’ll learn the blighter!
The Sly Insurrectionist, that’s me
Given the success of his sandwich thread, l’m surprised the saucy one hasn’t started using his name to prefix all his threads.
The late Robert Ludlum did that so effectively his publishers are still using his name to flog airport blockbusters 20-odd years after he died
Robert Ludlum’s The Sandwich Thread
The follow up could be called
H.P. Saucecraft’s The Sandwich Reflux
Stephen King’s H.P. Saucecraft’s 100 Favourite Sandwiches Of All Time
Have we got a video?
Moosey has a few. All VHS.
I prefer the original super 8s.
Is the one with the donkey back yet?
(Asking for a friend)
I prefer the ‘What the Butler Saw’ machines.
Trouble with those things is that your arm gets tired.
