I don’t know if this this has been mentioned on here, but this is sad news. Always been fascinated by ‘Death Discs’ and her’s was one of the best. And she was married to The Milk Tray Man!

Twinkle Twinkle (Minor Pop Star)
I am sorry to learn of her death. Perhaps she wasn’t particularly ‘important’ to the mid-sixties music revolution but, for me as a(then) young teenager she was eye catching. I loved ‘Terry’ and the follow up ‘Golden Lights’ was okay. In fact ‘Terry’ is amongst my often played songs – the last time was over the weekend.

Funny, but even minor 60s pop stars had a higher profile than whoever is no. 1 in 2015.
Slightly bizarrely, I think she came to our house when I was a lad. It was past her hay day as this would have been the early 70s but a great friend of my father’s was a TV producer at LWT and light entertainment stars various would pop in occasionally. The most famous being Bruce Forsyth who bought Anthea Redfearn. I have a vague recollection of being told by my mum to “stop gawping at our guests”.
