The thing about Howie Epstein’s addiction and decline. Tom was addicted too around then but you’d have no idea from the interview where they talk about it
Ah yes. In his book he’s even more explicit about the incongruity between his attitude to drugs and the fact that he was badly addicted and surrounded by druggie sleazebags.
Kanopy includes a lot of classic movies, documentaries, educational stuff on various topics – religion, philosophy, architecture etc etc and a few music docos in there as well.
I think I can get it through my library in the UK too (Essex), but as I could only stream to a laptop rather than cast to a TV I’ve only watched one thing, and that was a couple of years ago.
I’ve got the DVD box. Disc 2 started glitching some time ago so I had to buy it to stream from the tax dodgers. Have also got the accompanying coffee table book. So ace it took me down a deep and expensive TP mine.
One of the best rock documentaries. The DVD version came with a nice CD of rarities, but copies are as rare as hens’ teeth these days.

I don’t know, he seemed pretty out of it it me.
Yes that’s true. I was thinking more about what he was saying.

I have that ‘rare as hen’s teeth.’ edition and yes it’s good.
I just reach for my DVDs. Superb.
It’s free to watch on Plex for those not of the Oz persuasion.
Is Kanopy only Oz access Mike?
Sorry thought it was international.
We have it in Canada
It is – I blame my ignorance.
Plex? Kanopy?
I have heard of neither.
Kanopy is a streaming service that, at least in Canada, allows you to watch 4 free films a month if you have a library membership.
Plex is mainly a server to stream your own media with, however they also have some live channels and stuff on demand (it’s basically free)

I cast to a TV using chromecast
Hmmm can’t from Hertfordshire. You can check here.

It must depend on the area. I’ve just checked and it’s still available to Essex Library users.

Yes it’s up to the county I guess. I get the papers and magazines access but I know people who can’t get it.
I’ve checked and I can’t but I’ll put a request in to the local library service.
There’s an app. at least for Apple TV, I think Roku also.

It’s a great doc.
Such a shame he died so relatively young.
