Well blow me down – about four years ago I posted that Lyle and Rickie video to some friends in Colorado. They subsequently told me they had played it all day long (nothing at all to do with weed becoming legal there) and asked “Got anything similar?” I sent them that exact same video of Blue Nile and Rickie. I haven’t heard from them since – I assume they exploded in delight somewhere above Salida

Lyle and RLJ is magnificent. Any idea about where or when it happened?
It was the late summer of ’95 on one of the dates from the Live in Texas live album.
