A bit of a shot in the dark here. I was browsing stories and came across an article about Marcel Duchamp’s last artwork, Étant donnés, as you do.
I thought, that looks familiar. I had an album once with that as a cover. I think the background colour was dark green, and it was by somebody cultish and a bit weird like the Legendary Pink Dots or Coil.
Could I locate the name of the band or album online? No. No, I couldn’t. Does anybody here know?

Wasn’t it the initial notorious cover for the second Steps album that was quickly replaced with something innocous? Copies with the rare first version of the cover change hands for a small fortune these days I believe. Strange but true. H is a big Duchamp fan apparently.

A friend of mine from Sheffield was so pally with the guys out of Clock DVA that he used to refer to them as “The Clocks”, in the same way as people say “The Velvets” instead of the Velvet Underground or “The Feelgoods” instead of Doctor Feeelgood.
