This popped up on my Facebook feed last night. Ringo, Robbie Robertson play The Weight with musicians across 5 continents.
Have a good day everyone.

Musings on the byways of popular culture
That’s abysmal a version. Are you a member here sonny?
I haven’t been thrown out yet, unlike some people.
Oooh touché. 😉
A cheap shot, completely against all rules of fair play, forgiveness and something else starting with f. However, it may also be true.
Free The Vancouver 1!
Lovely. But ‘A song that transcends time and space’ – really? Characteristic modesty from Robbie there (and I speak as a fan – though I suppose he may not have come up with the caption).
I think there was a post about this when it first ‘dropped’ ……About a year ago. A reasonable stab of a song arguably done best when his old band did it. Or the zillion frankly better versions than this.
Definitely something going on with Robbie’s barnet…
Yup, utmost care needed when lifting the cans off, unless they are a lift-on lift-off combo.
I’ve changed my mind. This is quite something to have put together.
I still think the song is weak, lazy and boring though.
You really are weird…
The Weight (original) could easily fit in to your “Blew me away” thread. I agree this video is a tad “look at us rock stars” but weak, lazy and boring it ain’t. You are one weird dude.
I’m loving this right now.
I’m eclectic. Always have been always will.
Not sure you have spelled weird correctly…
Eclectic is just Weird with an education. The posh version.
Oh come on you bunch of cynical buggers. It’s a fine song – all tied together with a “world“ feel. It made me all “feels” when I first saw it.
