I mentioned in another blog that during this lockdown I’ve taken up two free online language courses. French and Italian. The former is pretty easy, especially having done it at O Level (C). Italian is a different bowl of olives altogether. A beautiful language and also sometimes quite bonkers in a lovely way. Speaking of lovely, one of the vox pops is a delightful Italian SFWTBC. Lovely tousled golden tawny blonde tresses, (I dig owls) and 70s style ankle length Laura Ashley type dress. Swoon material, basically. Unfortunately, it’s not live/interactive, so she’ll never know what a delightful thing we could get going in real time, perhaps a holiday visit the other side of this virus. I learn particularly well from her. She gets the chakras whirring. I had an Italian school chum when I was a very young yogi. Knee high to a Paramahansa was I. They sat him next to me in class as he couldn’t speak English and I was a bit of a natterer. He became fluent quite quickly under my tutelage. I wonder whatever happened to Amadeo. What’s Amadeo doing now? Italy’s the only European country that really appeals to me, although others have their own delights. Anyway, I digress.
Have you taken up any new studies, hobbies, activities to broaden your mind and generally enjoyment during the lockdown bardon on this particular round on the karmic wheel? If so, please share. It might inspire and inform others to do similar. Spread the good vibes and positive energy. Om Namah Shivaya!
