Is there a song out there that has been mis-spelt more times than ‘Honky Tonk Women’?
I reckon it’s one ‘woman’ for every one ‘women’.
It’s ‘WOMEN’.

Tis true, it’s a stonker of a list and the anticipation would be huge, waiting in the arena. But how was the show? Too big, too distant and, probably, too polished, I guess Now if they were to play the same show at the O2 academy in Brum, heck, I’d sell my girlfriend.

Try as I might, I can’t imagine a scenario where it wouldn’t be (a) long, (b) boring, (c) uncomfortable, (d) difficult to get to and from, (e) expensive, and (f) shared with a crowd who are shoe-horning it in between similar events by Madonna, Elton John and Fleetwood Mac.
I wondered why they need a wheelchair for the encores…..

She’s a Rainbow is pretty rare. A Bowie tribute would have been nice but maybe that was LSTNT.

Jagger admitted in a 1972 interview that the Stones were, to all intents and purposes, ‘hanging up the cue’. It was quoted in that sleeve-note series that Q put out in about 1990 (remember them?).

and they *were* out plugging the new album – the Ronniecount was up to 8 there – 1/3 of the show.
Anyway, I think we’re largely in agreement – if you’ve seen them in the last 10 years, and you’re offered the chance to seem them again, you’ll be getting the same show now…
