I’m going to watch this later. Monster always struck me as massively over-priced average stuff, which you could otherwise buy in Tandy, with a massive marketing budget. Much like Beats headphones.
I never bought anything of theirs.
I’ll admit to being sucked in once. Bigger- better , a bit like the Tap but it’s got one more.
I’ll take a gander during the course. I’ve never owned anything Beats or Monster. I know Monster were involved with Beats in the early days but were cut free before Apple aquirred the company. A faint bell is ringing about Monster taking Apple to law over something or other to do with their acquisition of Beats. I have heard a pair of Beats and if you enjoy everything swamped in elevated bass then fill yer boots. You wouldn’t describe them as striving for a neutral sound signature.
I’ve always assumed Beats headphones were for people who spelled bass base.
Monster are a regular subject of hilarity in my band because their guitar cables have little arrows on them telling you which way to connect them for optimal signal flow – which is of course complete tosh
