Yeah they’ve been around since around 2010 Niall. A bit dreamy, pretty chill. Never got around to seeing them but we have a few venues that suit there sort of music so perhaps I will.
Tiggerlion wrote a review of their most recent album and that got me curious. Definitely a grower.
They’re really good.
My favourite Melbourne band are the Underground Lovers. I saw them supporting OMD in Adelaide, and they’re one of the few supporting acts for whom I would have happily spent (most of) the ticket price to see on their own.
Underground Lovers are great and have been for 35 years, their second album was released in the UK by 4AD. Turns out I don’t have their latest three (!) albums from the 2010s…
Did anyone else look at that YouTube still and start singing ‘I want to see the Bright Lights Tonight’?
