sadly Lisa Loring who played the original Wednesday Addams has left us, only 64. she was only 5/6 when she did the original filming. this leaves John Astin (Gomez) as the only surviving original cast member

A photo of her appeared tonight on Richard Osman’s House of Games. The answer was “Sheffield Wednesday Addams”.
A fitting tribute, methinks.
Lodey, it was Christina Ricci as Wednesday though.
Here’s Lisa.
Damn. Wrong again. Who woulda thunk?
Hold on, I was Right!
The image on the left was the one used.
From Den of Geek.
Yebbut the answer was Wednesday Addams so they got the photo Wrong and I was Right!
And no one on House of Games got it right!
Wednesday on Netflix is one of the best things (and the best ‘Thing’ too!) on telly. Laugh out loud hilarious.
The middle of every working week, I post an image of Wednesday Addams on the team chat of our small sub-division for the entertainment (stoic indifference) of my colleagues. There will be something suitable posted tomorrow.
Tuesdays is ‘Jukebox Tuesday ‘ – I post a song each week. This week was Days by Television. IT could be worse. My boss posts Star Wars memes every day.
Get some bloody work done!
Gomez lives?
So much for the curse of the Mercury Prize.
Bdum tishhhhh
have an up for that … but try explaining the curse to Speech Debelle or Miss Dynamite
Only 5 foot 6.
FMD I am only 5 foot 4. Probably even a tad less in my dotage. How tall were the others that made her look so small? Ok excluding Lurch.
Dude, that’s her Wordle score.
The Wednesday Netflix series is really good fun. There are people in real life that just “appear” in a room, like the Wednesday character. My teenage daughter does that.
There’s a scene where Thing is sulking on a bed, casually flicking through a magazine. Another one where Thing reacts with alarm to the arrival of someone coming up the driveway. It’s just a *hand* but somehow it’s so expressive.
