Not expecting much in the way of hampers for this, but for those who are that way inclined it’s a real treat: Monk Suite by the Kronos Quartet, which puts the music of the Great Misterioso in a whole new light. It dates back to 1985, but I’d never come across it before. Available in all the usual places.

“Melodious Thunk” is certainly apt for maestro Ron Carter’s contribution here.
Kronos Quartet have a lot of form for venturing outside the usual string quartet repertoire.
I’d forgotten I had this album. A timely reminder.
