Excellent blog as ever Niall. Picky point, it was Peter Haycock not Colin…
I had Colin on the brain this week 🤷🏻.
Thanks.
Marvellous, as per.
Thanks.
Waiting eagerly for Part 2
Might even be a Pt 3.
Excellent
Thanks 🙏
I occasionally saw Gary Brooker in The Crown on the village green when I lived in Chiddingfold in the early 90s. He and his wife Frankie used to organise an annual charity concert at the Ex Serviceman’s Club. Tickets were highly prized as you never knew who would be playing. The times I went, Andy Fairweather Lowe, Bill Wyman and Frankie Miller played. There must have been others too. I believe Genesis, who had their studio on the edge of the village and Clapton, who lived fairly close, also appeared one year.
Yes, it was always a big deal, that gig. Collins & Rutherford certainly did it one year.
