That’s a very nice article. By strange coincidence, I picked up the new Boards of Canada record yesterday and there is an unadvertised hexagonal flexi disc in the booklet. I really can’t remember when I last played one.

Well played Sir! It does feel a bit like one of us has broken the 4th wall or something…
haha, yeah maybe but it won’t be me, I just do what I do and if the guys at the paper see a story they go with it. I initially just emailed a friend on the local paper telling him I had found my rarest flexi (the Slade party invitation, previously published here) and it kinda snowballed, excellent publicity for my mixes, which is always good.

If so, you may have been the chap who bought my copy – I sold a few flexis some time ago as I had invested in a superior turntable and cartridge and didn’t fancy subjecting my investment to the risk of playing something only a few thousandths of an inch thick!
Do you have a special turntable set aside for your flexis?
Somewhere here I still have a few left – probably in the box of normal 7″ singles in my garage loft – if I stumble across them one day, I’ll send them on to you.
