Thank God James Corden has been elbowed.
I’m more interested in the Champions League and Wolf Hall than the Brits.
Having looked at the nominees list, I’m decidedly underwhelmed. Not sure I could stomach too much Ant and Dec either.
Chap on R4 this morning : “The artists I like haven’t been nominated. Therefore the entire event is invalid”.
This intervention is as old as the Brits themselves.
Cannot abide award ceremonies so I’ll be watching Boardwalk Empire on DVD and drinking brandy sours.
I usually regret watching….but it does have the potential for the odd ‘moment’. Kanye West has been drafted in to replace Rihana…..so knob head potential ahoy. Fireup the twitter feed!
No interest whatsoever, unfortunately everyone else in the house is glued to it so i’ll have to watch the Arsenal match on the little telly upstairs.

i’m with iggyp. i’ll also be watching the arsenal game, and i’m a spurs fan. thats how little the brits mean to me.
Sat with my 14 yr old daughter, instead of her sort of moping about in her room on Twitter etc. I guess this is a bit like the old Eurovision gather round the TV for the next generation moment. Music not really my cup of tea, but then my folks never got the Clash or Discharge (the band, rather than seepage)

Blimey! I saw this thread at 10pm and wondered when it was on – turns out it’s today! I knew I had no interest in these strange award ceremonies but I hadn’t realised to what extent I’d just blanked it all out. I did notice an article in a paper a couple of days ago and just assumed it was on in a few weeks time!

I know a stage fall when I see one.
I’m a bit of a cynical old sod but the way the dancers end up almost anticipating her tumble makes me a wee bit suspicious.

It does seem a bit odd that none of the dancers seem to react in any way, try and catch her etc
