The President has kindly donated use of The Most Beautiful Golf Course In The World for our monthly gathering. So dust off your mashies, buff up your niblicks and join us. And when we’re done we’ll build a massive windmill on the first fairway.

    Someone asked me my thought process on solving Wordle and fair play to whoever it was

    So I’ll explain – Opening word it was the first word that came into my head upon starting the puzzle but I was unsure about using it for reasons I can’t give at this time because not all of today’s results are in

    After considering for a while how the two revealed words would combine I entered my second word

    Then I was stuck so I left the puzzle for 30 minutes to do a couple of chores

    When I came back to the puzzle it came to me right away* Wordle solved

    Apparently the solution was the only one possible after the letters I’d used

    *What’s important here is there are thought processes going on inside your brain that probably only a neurologist could explain So how a person solves Wordle in 2 or 3 under in my view is due luck and those thought processes/intelligence or they could be cheating Why someone would do so is beyond me it’s a bloody word game

    I am not getting at anybody with this I’m just trying to explain in my own words the run I had in the first 9 holes

  32. Disaster! A complete lack of concentration ( was distracted by a squirrel!) led me to throw away to shots then only just struggled out of the rough. Currently hanging my head in shame.
