mentioning Bees Make Honey reminded me of the pub rock scene in the seventies. Alas not living in London I never got to see many of the bands mentioned in the NME or Sounds just a couple at a few festivals etc. The pub names read like a mythical country populated by the people in the know. Although we had a pub scene in Leeds we didn’t get to see those bands listed. Did you see any of those bands in their natural environment ?
