Have been grooving’ (ahem) to both Bowies lodger remix (on the A New Career In A New Town set) and the remix of Real Gone album by Tom Waits.
I request other example of remixed albums (but remastered ones will be offered a withering aside).

I’ve just read that there is to be a release of Mad Professor’s dub remix of Massive Attack’s Mezzanine. Protection/No Protection is one of my favourite things to listen to, so I’m slightly salivating at the prospect of more musical pairings to enjoy/sink into.
It reminds me how much I like such remix albums and their sources, whether it’s Echo Dek & Vanishing Point, Laika Come Home & Gorillaz first album or Too Young To Die & Casino Classics (Primal Scream, Gorillaz, St Etienne respectively).
I’m always keen to hear more of such joyful and creative album/remix album pairings. Any suggestions?
