It may have escaped your notice but the Seven Years hitmaker has long been interested in nursery rhymes and children’s stories. Leave Your Sleep was a double album of poems for children (Lear, Rosetti, EE Cummings, Ogden Nash etc). Now she’s taken this a whole lot further with a multi-media collaboration with Chicago Symphony Orchestra and others, setting nursery rhymes – from Jack Sprat to Little Miss Muffet – to music and creating short videos to go with them.

The album is on Spotify but I really would recommend watching the videos as the music alone makes the project appear a very large hammer to crack a modest sized nut, whereas the ideas behind it are much clear in the visuals. Bonus enjoyment of some classical musicians (the vibes player at the start of Humpty Dumpty) gamely wearing very silly hats.
