Everyone here is a fan of the Get Funky hitmakers, aren’t they? That trademark chug, jangle and harmonising has been making us nicer people since 1990 or so. But what does one reach for in the long wait between Teenage Fanclub records and dates? Well, try this vaguely chronological playlist for size. Everything flows; you get the bands who influenced them and the acts they influenced; you get some related turns and covers; plus you get curveballs like Queen, the Alan Parsons Project and Steve Miller Band. I might well have posted this here before, in which case: sorry. But you can never have too much of this type of music, so please let me know of anything else that might fit in.
