Sir Paul has announced a new ‘career-spanning’ compilation, due out in June, entitled “Pure McCartney”. There was some speculation a few days ago after Sir Paul released snippets of some remixes of ‘Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five’ that a remix project was in the offing. However, it seems that it was just a precursor to the compilation announcement (neither remix appears on any of the compilation variants, by the way). The full 4 CD tracklisting is listed in the article. FWIW, I think it looks pretty good, and if I’m feeling flush come June, I may put my hand in my pocket for this one. Added bonus – no ‘C Moon’.
